"In the summer of 2015 Wake Up! took our VW bus from Berlin to the Freerotation Festival in the middle of nowhere in Wales. The day before the festival started we stopped by Idle Hands on Stokes Croft in Bristol.

Idle Hands was founded by Chris Farrell as a record label in 2009 and expanded two years later as a store. It quickly became one of the most import hubs in Bristol following the closure of the seminal Rooted Records in 2008.

Chris welcomed us with a warm smile and showed us around his personal selection of favorites. After loading us up with fresh records* we ended the day with a round of pints at The Bell, a cozy pub just around the corner of the store.

On the following morning - after spending the night on the floor of Shanti Celeste's studio - we realized in less than a day we had already taken Chris and his friends into our hearts.

So we're more than happy to welcome him with a 60 minutes mix for our series."
